What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to measure how a site is used. Similar technologies such as local storage and pixels fall under this policy too.

Cookies we set

The MAEVE AI website does not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or social media trackers. It currently sets no cookies of its own at all.

If you use the MAEVE AI chatbot, the chat session may rely on a strictly necessary session identifier so that your conversation continues across page views and messages. Without it, the chatbot cannot remember what you asked. This falls under the "strictly necessary" exemption in GDPR and applicable e-privacy rules, so we set it on the basis of legitimate interest and do not require consent for it.

Third-party content

To keep the site lightweight we load two external resources:

• Google Fonts (fonts.gstatic.com) for typography. Loading a font transfers your IP address to Google. Google states that it does not set cookies for font requests.
• The Tailwind CSS CDN (cdn.tailwindcss.com) for styling. This is a JavaScript file and does not set cookies.

We do not control these services. Their providers may process technical data such as your IP address as described in their own privacy policies. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in presenting the site correctly (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

Consent

Because the only cookies and identifiers we use are strictly necessary, we do not show a cookie consent banner. If we ever add analytics, marketing, or other optional cookies, we will ask for your consent first, before anything is set, and you will be able to change or withdraw that consent at any time.

Managing cookies in your browser

Every browser lets you block or delete cookies. You will find these options in your browser's privacy or security settings. Blocking all cookies may limit some parts of the site or the chatbot, but the marketing pages will keep working.

Your rights under GDPR

You have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Changes to this policy
